Stephanie Windsor-Lewis (mezzo-soprano) completed her studies as a young artist at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino and at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. Prior to this she studied at the Benjamin Britten International Opera School at the Royal College of Music.

Operatic engagements have included Giovanna Seymour Donizetti Anna Bolena at The Metropolitan Opera in New York (understudy), Suzuki Madame Butterfly English National Opera, Rosina Rossini, Il barbiere di Siviglia, Madama Rosa Donizetti Il campanello, and Cesca Puccini Gianni Schicchi for the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino; Suzuki Puccini Madame Butterfly and Lucia Rossini La gazza ladra at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna, La Macchina by Raffaele Grimaldi for the Biennale di Venezia and Teatro Donizetti di Bergamo, Meg Page Verdi Falstaff Longborough Opera/Opera Project, the title role in Rossini’s Cenerentola, Ottavia L’incoronazione di Poppea, and Baba the Turk Stravinsky The Rake’s Progress.

Stephanie’s concert engagements include a gala concert with the esteemed tenor Josè Carreras in Singapore, Berio’s Sinfonia for the Lucerne Festival with the late Pierre Boulez, and Handel’s Messiah, Mozart’s Requiem and Vivaldi’s Gloria at the Royal Albert Hall. She won first prizes in the Benvenuto Franci competition and the Premio Crescendo Competition in Florence.
