MESSIAH FROM SCRATCH® 2017

Royal Albert Hall

Another exhilarating performance of Messiah from Scratch (our 43rd), with singers and audience alike leaving the Royal Albert Hall wreathed in smiles at another wonderful evening’s music making.

Our excellent team of soloists comprised Alison Rose (soprano), Angharad Lyddon (mezzo-soprano), William Wallace (tenor) and Jake Muffett (baritone). Brian Kay had the Herculæan task of keeping order among 3,300 singers and 50 orchestral players (the superb English Festival Orchestra), and did so with consummate success and evident delight.

The concert supported the British Heart Foundation through programme sales, advertising and post-concert bucket collections, and over £7,000 was raised for this excellent charity.
