THE SCRATCH® GUERNSEY GATHERING

St Peter Port, Guernsey

Take me straight to the booking form (opens in a new window)

Forget rotten exchange rates against the euro, join us in Guernsey this autumn where VAT-free prices means that your pound will buy more!  We promise singing, breathtaking scenery and a seriously sociable weekend. Our concert with organ will be in the island’s main classical concert venue (St James’s Hall in the island’s capital St Peter Port) and we also have the opportunity to explore some of the history and culture of this lovely island – a Crown Dependency of the UK.

Our musical programme, under the direction of Brian Kay, Principal Conductor of The Really Big Chorus, comprises Gounod’s St Cecilia Mass (a great success with singers on one of our recent cruises), Mendelssohn’s Hear my prayer (which includes the famous ‘O for the wings of a dove’) plus, as a rousing opener, Handel’s Zadok the Priest.
