How to book
Details for singers

Latest news: Due to the extraordinarily high demand for singing places on Mozart at Midnight, we regret to say that this event is now sold out, and we already have a full waiting list. We regret having to disappoint so many, but there is a strict limit on the number of singers we can take, imposed by St Stephen’s Cathedral and beyond our control.

Take part in a musical pilgrimage to Vienna, and sing Mozart’s Requiem at midnight in the magnificent Stephansdom – with the last notes fading away at the recorded moment of Mozart’s death.

Choirs from all over the world vie for the chance to sing for such an auspicious occasion, and The Really Big Chorus is delighted to have secured this invitation for 2018. We are also honoured to have as our conductor Gerald Wirth, Artistic Director of the renowned Vienna Boys’ Choir since 2001 and a great champion of youth and amateur music-making.

The day after the performance we will be treated to a private guided tour of the Vienna Boys’ Choir School and – if that were not enough – there will be time to do your Christmas shopping in the world-famous Vienna Christmas Markets.
