Royal Albert Hall Chorus Layout -
At the Albert Hall there are three kinds of singing tickets: Boxes, Circle and Downstairs. The Circle was called the Balcony until it was rebuilt with better seating and sightlines. Downstairs Tenors are arranged behind the orchestra and Downstairs Basses are mainly on the Stage. Downstairs Sopranos and Downstairs Contraltos are in the Stalls if they book early enough, otherwise their sections are extended into parts of the Arena and Stage, then into the Choir East and Choir West Sections (by the organ). The earliest bookings are always given the best seats | |
