Welcome to the world of TRBC, or The Really Big Chorus to give us our full name. We are the UK’s largest choral society, promoting the unique, sell-out Messiah from Scratch® at the Royal Albert Hall each year. We also arrange singing holidays and cruises in association with our travel partners, Specialised Travel Concert Touring Ltd.
Our choral programme is open to anyone who can sing (no audition needed) and you will be warmly welcomed at any of our events.

Future plans
You can book or register interest for all the events shown above. Events with The Really Big Chorus which are still in the very early stages of planning are shown below so you can make a note in your diary. Dates should be regarded as provisional until such time as they are listed above.
9–14 August 2027: The TRBC Summer School. In response to popular pressure, we are reinstating our annual Summer School. With accommodation at Bath Spa University, Newton Park (not the same as Bath University, where we had our 2022 accommodation), we will study Verdi’s Requiem and perform in Bath Abbey with the Bath Philharmonia. Singers will be coached by the familiar team of Brian Kay (conductor) and Chris Finch (repetiteur). Complete this Google form to register your interest prior to full details being available in the autumn.
14–18 October 2027: Messiah in Luxembourg, conducted by Brian Kay. We will be guests of the British-Luxembourg Society (celebrating their 80th anniversary), and of the European Institute of Choral Singing.
