A return trip to New York to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11

Latest information
1 August 2016: because our hotels were booked well before exchange rates took a dive, there has been no need to increase our prices for this trip.

In 2011 we were invited by Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY) to sing in the city’s prestigious Lincoln Center on the tenth anniversary of 9/11. Five years later DCINY renewed their invitation, but the sharp fall in the value of the pound against the dollar made the intended collaboration impossible. However, in the course of replanning the trip we have discovered an amazing church in which to perform, and been able to reduce the cost to participants.

Our venue is now the architecturally stunning St Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Manhattan, which has invited us to be part of their 9/11 remembrance day events. Brian Kay will conduct Fauré’s Requiem as planned; the rehearsal schedule and final dinner will all remain the same, as will the various flight and hotel options. This will be a unique few days: 11 September is a special time to be in New York, and we will be warmly welcomed at St Bart’s, as it known by New Yorkers.
