As in 2025, singing tickets are bought from the Royal Albert Hall via an exclusive link on this website. Only people on our mailing list can access this link, so sign up to our mailing list now if you have not already done so. Click the button below to join thousands of other singers. At the time of writing (21 May 2026) only Gallery (standing) places are showing as available, but later in the year there should be many Debenture Holders’ seats available for purchase.

Messiah from Scratch® draws thousands of singers to the Royal Albert Hall in the weeks leading up to Christmas for a unique performance of Handel’s Messiah. Since 1974, hundreds of thousands of singers (and a few thousand audience members) have experienced Messiah from Scratch®. For our performance, the singers generally outnumber the audience by three to one. As a result, it is a brilliant, festive occasion which fills every available seat in the Royal Albert Hall.

The performance is genuinely ‘from Scratch’ with no rehearsal for the singers. This generates a sense of excitement which consequently produces, year after year, a simply superb performance. Experience a wonderful adrenaline-filled evening after which everyone – singers and audience alike – leaves the Hall on an amazing high.
