Messiah from Scratch® online booking
After 50 years, we’ve said goodbye to paper forms, postal delays and waiting for tickets. You can now choose and book your seats – singing and/or audience – directly with the Royal Albert Hall from 4th April onwards.

First, join the TRBC mailing list
To book singing seats online for Messiah from Scratch® you must first be on the TRBC mailing list. It’s easy: just click the ‘Join our Mailing List’ button on the front page of our website and follow the instructions. (If you were on our old mailing list, we will already have been in touch with instructions for converting to the new one.)

The link to Messiah from Scratch® online booking via the RAH goes live on Friday 4th April 2025. Please note that you cannot access our RAH web-page except by first logging in as a TRBC Member via our website.

Choose your own seats
You can choose your own seats from those shown as available on the Hall’s seating plan, up to a maximum of 12 seats: singing seats, audience seats or a combination of both.  Each seat on the plan shows which voice it is (or audience); please note that singing seats on the edges of the different vocal areas will not initially be on sale. We need flexibility to move the boundaries nearer to the concert according to which seats are sold. We will release more tickets progressively throughout the booking period. After 3rd April, you can access step-by-step instructions on how to navigate this new RAH booking page by clicking click here for our most recent e-newsletter.

Buying more than 12 seats
If you want to buy more than 12 tickets, we suggest that you make two or more visits to the RAH bookings page, making separate bookings for each voice part. You could also book audience seats at another time.

Buying audience seats
If you are only buying audience seats, you do not need to be on the TRBC mailing list. Audience seats can be purchased directly from the Royal Albert Hall by visiting www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/calendar. (Selecting the ‘Classical’ category will make it easier to find Messiah from Scratch®.) You can also book audience tickets (only) by telephoning the Royal Albert Hall on 020 7589 8212.

We have prepared chorus notes for singers, relating to cuts and other musical issues at Messiah from Scratch®. Click here to view or download these chorus notes.
