Messiah: sold out?

Messiah 2026 is showing on the RAH bookings page as sold out for both singers and audience. However, if you are still hoping to join us on 8th November, there are a few options: please see below.

Seats returned by Debenture Holders (Members).
If RAH Members do not want their seats, they can return them at any time directly to the Hall for resale. Tickets may therefore suddenly become available in the Stalls (audience seats) and in Boxes. If a returned Box falls within the Main Singing Area, the RAH may label it a Mixed Singing Box: suitable for any voice and/or audience.  Any RAH Members seats remaining unclaimed by the Member at five weeks prior to the performance are automatically put on sale. So we can expect a flurry of available seats for Messiah from Scratch® at the beginning of October.

Standing places in the Gallery.
There are still standing places available in the Gallery for audience. We have noticed singers there in the past, but it’s a long way up and we don’t recommended it …

Make a request via our Facebook Group.
This is an excellent forum for exchanging unwanted tickets and for the general sharing of information. To post messages, apply to join the group and answer three questions to prove you are not a robot. Visit https://www.facebook.com/groups/110013771544 to see more. 

Use the Twickets platform.
The RAH recommends this ticket re-selling platform where tickets are sold at their face value plus a very small admin fee.  To see what’s available, visit https://www.twickets.live/en/uk and type Messiah from Scratch into the black search box.

Final note.
In their panic to get tickets during the unfortunate chaos which followed the booking launch, some people may have bought seats in the wrong voice area. Please do your best to resell or swap these, using either our Facebook Group or Twickets as detailed above. Singing alto from among the sopranos, or tenor from among the altos, will not give you the best experience!
