TRBC switch to Bluesky

12 June 2025

TRBC switch to Bluesky from Twitter/X as from today. No-one on X has trolled us or insulted us, but we prefer not to associate with a platform which has become so toxic.

We need to rebuild our list of followers – genuine people and organisations who know what we are about and are interested in what we do. We had more than 2,500 followers on X, and would like to carry them with us, so spread the word, please.

We’re at @TRBCsings.bsky.social and hope that Bluesky will manage to keep the platform like Twitter was before it became X.

Just a warning: our Bluesky handle is @TRBCsings because the simpler @TRBC was already taken. ‘Sings’ is, in any case, most appropriate for us, but, if you forget and leave it off, you land on a Turkish-language account. None of us here speaks Turkish, but we are sure they are not talking about choral singing – we most certainly are. And ‘classical’ music in general. And those who play it, teach it and support it.
